The Vallombrosa Choir, under the direction of Patrick Feehan, provides music for various retreats and special events during the year.
More About Patrick Feehan
Patrick Feehan is a local composer with a degree in music, specializing in conducting. His company, Patrick Feehan Productions, has been hired to compose custom music for such clients as Apple Computer, Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technology, IBM, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Bank of America, Visa International, Standard Oil, The Gap, and others. His music has appeared on network broadcast outlets ABC and CBS, and on national cable channels HBO, Cinemax, and the Discovery Channel. He also composed the music for a documentary about the Silicon Valley, narrated by Walter Cronkite, which was broadcast on PBS.
He has taught at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton, and with the help of his wife, Marion, served as Music Director at St. Raymond’s Church in Menlo Park for ten years. He brings his love for choral conducting to Vallombrosa Center, and he brings a number of singers with him who are pleased to be part of the Center’s mission.
Join us on Sunday, February 12 for a Valentine Mass with the Vallombrosa Choir, on Sunday, March 25 for the Lenten Prayer Service with the Vallombrosa Choir, and on Sunday, May 13 for our annual Mother’s Day Mass with the Vallombrosa Choir. The Valentine Mass and the Mother’s Day Mass begin at 10:30am and the Lenten Prayer Service begins at 2:00pm. All are open to the public.
